IMPLEMENTATION OF TOURISM TAX
In compliance with the policy of the Malaysian Government, a Tourism Tax of RM10 flat rate per room night will be imposed on all foreign guests.
This ruling shall be effective as of 1st September 2017 and will be reflective separately in the room bill and/or room rate. The tax is not inclusive of the service charge.
Malaysians are exempted from paying the levy.
IMPLEMENTATION OF SST
Effective 1st September 2018, all prices and rates quoted are inclusive of 6% SST. The implementation of the Service Tax is in line with the latest policy of the Malaysian Government.
